LEED Gold certification — what it actually means
LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification is awarded by the US Green Building Council to production facilities that meet verified standards across energy use, water efficiency, indoor environmental quality, and worker welfare. Fewer than 50 garment factories in Bangladesh hold LEED Gold or Platinum status. Bengal Origin Co. has documented access to LEED Gold certified production facilities across knitwear and woven categories.
